Just a week after crossing into Utah Frank has crossed another stateline into Nevada!

Now that Frank has access to a motorhome (rented by Ed Blake his Australian friend, to enable him to cope with the desert conditions) it is making life much more difficult for us folks at home who are trying to plot his progress westward. It seems the US50 road he was following turned into an interstate highway which mean't he could not walk along it by law. He therefore used the motorhome to fast forward some of the way and today finds himself just into Nevada within sight of Utah. However, as has cut off some of the mileage by doing this he needs to go back into Utah to regain some of the mileage he missed? (yes we were confused on the exact logic being used). He has spent the last 3 days on the "Loneliest road in the world" , the old US50 is very bare of traffic and dead straight in these parts. The temperature is still into the low 90's (F) by day and the only vegetation is sparse sticks of grass up to 6" tall.

His feet are giving him some trouble, in particular his left foot which he injured slightly whilst he was clambering up some rocks in the last few days. He may need some medical advice when he reaches more civilization.

He is due to go to Salt Lake City in the next week to meet Lucy his daughter (and author of the other website above) who is landing there en-route between Hong-Kong and the UK to see her father. This is quite far North and in fact also East of his current position.
